Hero Strategy
Lightning Bolt provides vision and reveals invisible heroes and wards.
Use Arc Lightning to secure creep last hits and damage the opponents at the same time.
Mana management and rune control are key for Zeus to be able to farm and fight effectively.
Look around the map to kill opponents on low health with Thundergod's Wrath.
Thundergod's Wrath reveals invisible heroes but doesn't damage them.
Thundergod's Wrath lightens the part of the map where opponents are smoked but doesn't damage them.
Don't show yourself at the start of the fight. Let opponents focus on your allies so you can get all of your spells off.
As you are moving around, constantly check for opponents wards with Lightning Bolt.
You can pop smoke for yourself here and there and cast spells from it in the fights.
Aghanims Scepter is a huge power spike against backliners and evasive heroes, such as Tinker.
Black King Bar on enemy heroes is problematic for your damage output. You need to kite those and prolong the fight.
It is fine to use your ultimate here and there in late game to scout for opponents.
Once you have Manta Style with Aghanim Shard, use the illusions to safely shove lanes towards the enemy base.
Counter Strategy
Agree on who builds magic resistance items such as Pipe of Insight against Zeus - all players should have items with some magic resistance
Place wards in unusual spots because of Zeus
Keep your HP above Thundergod's Wrath damage of 300
Control Power Runes to prevent Zeus from getting arcane or regeneration runes
Smoke of Deceit can be useful to dodge Thundergod's Wrath or to wrap around Zeus to catch him off-guard
